I’ve been pretty obsessed with the differences in well-designed ampersands for a while. I decided to put together some of my favorite ampersands together to share with you guys today. You may have seen a few of these fonts featured here before but they’re still pretty great.
My name is Angel Yarde. I am a designer, front-end developer, and speaker. I am the editor and designer of Studio 404 whic was founded in December 2006. In January 2014, I launched Studio 404 Paper, a paper shop which includes type-focused greeting cards, note cards, and prints. I currently reside in Celebration, Florida where I co-own a branding strategy studio, Sevenality, with my husband.

these are so fantastic!! when i get a new typeface i love checking out what the ampersand looks like, just so pretty and i love how each one is so unique and different! i can’t decide on a favourite of these, i love them all!!
There are so many fun ampersand options. They’re just so much fun.

I love the bold, unique, and rich looks of each of these. Seeing beautiful type always makes me wish I could try my hand at typography! Alas, I don’t think I have that type of creative bone in me. I’ll just continue to admire the pretty works I see everywhere! 🙂

Le Havre Layers is such a good font family. It’s very remnant of Core Circus but with a lot more styles and better kerning in my opinion. 🙂

I’ve thought about doing an ampersands only print! There are a few out there already so check Etsy. 🙂

Narziss and Eloquent are such fantastic findings! They are all really good, in fact. So thanks for sharing! Although I don’t use ampersands a lot, I sure admire how they can be the most awesomely designed font of a set.
I don’t use them often either lol but I love to take advantage of the opportunity to do so.
Oh, I love this! I also enjoy a good ampersand. It has to be one of the prettiest symbols out there.

Isn’t it the best? I love it and have been using it for years. I think it’s also the most popular. Most ampersand prints use it.
Love this! I always say you can judge a font by the quality of its ampersand. The Mandevilla one is so fun.

Love the Eloquent JF Swash! It has a nice weight! Erotica Capitals Small gives me touch of whimsy I love!
You might really love Erotica as a font family! It’s fantastic and seems perfect for your projects.
I mean, how can you NOT have an obsession with these?! Mine started with our wedding, but now I cannot see one and inspect the beauty!
