Be warned! This is a total baby shower post. I’m sorry (not) for ruining your day with all of this non-design subject matter. Today, I’m eight months pregnant and time is winding down. I still have a list of things to do that will make me feel better but have nothing to do with actually having a baby in your home. No one’s ever prepared to be a parent!
This past Sunday, I was lucky enough to have an amazing baby shower hosted by my very best friend. It was wonderful being surrounded by some of my favorite ladies in the world just hanging out and celebrating my impending parenthood. I used this classic moodboard as the basis for everything and it all turned out beautifully.
I didn’t want any weird baby shower games so we decided on onesie painting and headband making. I also designed this gigantic guess the birth date board which was a big hit with my friends. I really enjoyed designing the invites as a small part of all of the gorgeous decor. Also, many thanks to my friends Charisma, Melissa, and Hyemi for stopping by from the Internet and celebrating with me.

So pretty Angel, I’m so happy for you and can’t wait to see photos of your little one! 🙂
Thank you so much dear! <3
Angel, it looked stunning! The colour scheme, invites, cake and everything is so pretty. Looks like you had a great time.
Awwwww, everything looks so wonderful and you’re glowingggg! So beautiful! I love your ideas for baby showers — ditching the weird games & making onesies and headbands. That’s so cayuteee. You got a few more weeks until your bundle of joy is here! Once again — congratulations.
Bahaha, glowing pfft 😛 Ugh, time is going by so quickly! It’s slightly scary! Thank you so much friend! <3 <3

So pretty!! love the cake – and you’re looking gorgeous Angel!
Thank you so much Fran! <3
I love the onesie idea! I was wondering if you made a stencil with their last name? Or did you order one somewhere? Looked too perfect to be hand written. I’d love to know your source if it was something you purchased. Thanks!
Becca
Hi Rebecca! My friend Hyemi actually hand-lettered it so there was no stamping! You can see her work at http://hyemioh.com. 🙂
