Design Inspiration: Wedding Invitations Part 1

There are seventeen days left until my wedding! I’m excited, but saddened that I won’t be able to fawn over all of the wedding details anymore. As the days countdown, I want to share with everyone the inspiring world of weddings. There’s so much design work that goes into a wedding and it’s simply inspirational. Here’s a showcase of beautifully designed wedding invitations! All invitations can be found here at Oh So Beautiful Paper, my favorite print-design blog.

  1. Oh wow you must be thrilled! I imagine planning everything must have been amazing fun, but also exhausting! I’m engaged as well but unfortunately university has gotten in the way and we are now in a long distance relationship. It’ll probably happen after that, hopefully. I can’t imagine that though! I get nervous easily so I probably wouldn’t get much sleep the weeks leading up to the actual day haha.

  2. Wow! These are fantastic! I wish I had some more inspiration when I was designing my wedding invitations. I ended up getting so frustrated that I just ended up ordering them online. They were still nice, but they could have been a LOT nicer.

  3. Nice collection, Angel. I liked Ivana-David’s “4,644,000 seconds filled with hope” card.

People print wedding invitations and distribute them personally to their relatives and friends. Just a couple of days before the function, some people usually send a reminder e-mail to their friends. Some will use a scanned copy of the card, others will use beautiful images and text.

Take a look at BlumBlum.com where you will find 200+ wedding template designs for this ‘reminder’ business!
