I always feel more inspired when I find work of a designer or illustrator who is local. The design community here in Central Florida is growing. Although we don’t have the force of Austin or San Francisco, we have amazing talent. One of those hand lettering and illustration talents is Shauna Lynn Panczyszyn (first seen on Veerle’s site). Shauna has done amazing work for the local AIGA chapter, OC Weekly, and several other larger brands. While the type is the focus of the larger picture of Shauna’s work, I can’t help to admire all of the small details she focuses on. She’s the girl you want to call when you want your letters to really make a statement.

I just spoke with Shauna about how I’ve been seeing that Dita von Teese cover everywhere, + now it popped up here! her work is gorgeous, love her flourishes!
Her flourishes are great! I’ve seen the Dita cover around before but I had no idea Shauna was local. The more you know!
That cover is so funny because I see it EVERYWHERE on Pinterest, but 9 times out of 10 it links to Dita’s website haha. 🙂 I’m glad you ladies like it!
