Artist Showcase: Janine Rewell

I am surviving enough to make it to the middle of the week! I’m feeling much better and have been easing back into my workout routine. I’m so overdue for a weekend fitness post but that day will come! I spotted today’s feature artist, Janine Rewell, on FormFiftyFive (which I love!). Janine is an illustrator and graphic designer based in Helinski, Finland. She’s been freelancing since her studies at the University of Art and Design Helsinki as well as at the Rhode Island School of Design. I’m very inspired by Janine’s usage of geometric styles paired with a distinct attention to small details. Her illustrations have been found on anything from posters to tea pots. She’s opening a shop in April (birthday gift?!) and I look forward to seeing more of Janine’s work. Take a look at a few (I really had so much to choose from; it was hard to pick) of my favorites below.
