Two years ago, we were spending the holiday weekend on the island of Kauai in Hawaii celebrating my best friend’s second wedding ceremony. It’s so easy to become bummed about not being in a beautiful place this year. I’m busier than I ever believed I would be. I’ve been crying out for a real vacation for the past two years; but the reality is, as beautiful as the place is, my greatest memories of Kauai were the times I spent surrounded by loved ones. I may not wake up to beautiful mountain views but I still have the same wonderful people to surround myself with. I’m looking forward to making new memories and being inspired by those.

This is absolutely gorgeous! Did you design it yourself? Definitely just pinned it!

Hi dear! Yes, I designed it. 🙂 Thank you for the pin.
Aww! I’m originally from Hawaii and your post/photos have made me utterly homesick! Very true, however, it’s the people you share those beautiful moments with that mean the most! Great graphic!

Thank you for your comments Jessica! It’s always interesting to meet people from the islands. I can see why you get homesick! I didn’t want to leave.
What a beautiful place, I can see why you miss it.
