Today’s post features some amazing New Orleans photography by Montreal-based photographer, Irene Suchocki. Irene was kind enough to allow me to showcase her photos on the blog today so thank you Irene! I really don’t know how to explain Irene’s photography. I viewed her photographs of New Orleans posted on her blog and thought instantly of Sofia Coppola’s Marie Antoinette. It takes a very talented individual to bring out beauty in places most people don’t see. I enjoyed Irene’s attention to detail in the French Quarter and on Bourbon Street. She has definitely given me second thoughts on visiting The Big Easy.

Wow, Irene’s work is so beautiful! And you’re very right, it has a definite ‘Marie Antoinette’ vibe.

I’m glad I’m not the only one who sees Marie Antionette! Thanks for your comment Kyla. 🙂
