My heart has been weighing heavily on Boston for the past eighteen hours. I couldn’t begin to fathom how anyone could so viciously attack so many innocent people. My mind can only think of how often in the past six years alone have I been tuned into the news or Twitter trying to get updates on something horrible that’s happened. I can only imagine how overwhelming this is for others who have personally been affected by any tragedy. I hope everyone is safe this week at One Spark but I know the experience will be less enjoyable with the thoughts of those poor Bostonians in the back of my mind.
Today’s artist showcase comes from Spokane-based designer and illustrator Karli Ingersoll. Karli has a degree focused in print design but her identity work is  what captured my attention. She’s an amazing designer and a musician! I can only think of how much inspiration this girl experiences through her music and her design work. I enjoy Karli’s work because I think it represents her Washington roots. There’s just something very Western about her lettering and I love it! Check out a few of my favorites from Karli’s portfolio below.

I agree…my hearts are with everyone in Boston. This feeling has happened too many times.
On a different note, Karli’s work is beautiful! The type she does is so great. Thanks for introducing her work!
