]]> By: maggie https://studio-404.com/get-local/#comment-8913 Wed, 24 Sep 2014 18:48:49 +0000 https://studio-404.com/?p=7242#comment-8913 these tips are SO GOOD. there are so many benefits to connecting locally, even if it isn’t your main client base. i work with clients from all over but have made some amazing connections with local creatives that have lead to new work and exposure. i think my favorite tips from this are to be genuine (networking is totally more effective if you make it about legitimate, honest, human connection) and to not overwhelm yourself – networking burnout is real! sometimes it’s nice to just take a break and connect with others via twitter from your couch instead of going to an event 🙂
