Sorry for the late post! I’ve had a crazy morning planning my trip to One Spark next week. Today’s inspiration is showcasing a collection of patterns by Poppy & Red. What I love about Poppy & Red is that it is a collaborative effort between to Ireland-based illustrators, Anna Deegan and Paula McGloin. The women are more than talented and their patterns are full of great color palette inspiration. Their illustrations cover a variety of subjects from gorgeous owls to wrapping paper. I love this Vintage Collection set because of the soft, muted tones and the fun usage of typewriters. Check them out!
Happy Monday! I hope your weekend was a thousand times more relaxing than mine! I knew I had a busy schedule but once Friday afternoon hit, it was non-stop until today. I don’t think I spent enough time a home but I had a great time. Sunday was spent outdoors with great friends playing kickball. It was a great way to spend time outdoors while the weather is still likable and not insufferable. Today’s inspiration was found via Pinterest. Bel Andrade Lima is an inspiring Brazilian designer and illustrator. What I love the most about featuring international artists is despite not being able to understand the language, you can see their talent through their work. I had a great time browsing through Bel’s portfolio. Her work for the Nestlé Stamp Promotion project is one of my favorites featuring fun vector patterns. I loved the vibrant colors and I thought you would admire them as well.
